The garden
Five thousand square metres of pantry.
The honey starts here. Sylvia has planted hundreds of plants, flowers, shrubs and bulbs in this garden, taking turns to bloom from early spring to late summer. The bees only have the lawn to cross.
A 1,000 m² pond, shaded by our trees, gives the hives water all year round. Around it, the flower beds, hedgerows, fruit trees and lime trees set the calendar of the harvests: whatever blooms around the house ends up in the jar.
Every flower has its moment and its role: what it gives the bees, and what gardeners say about it. We present them one by one in the flower library.
